Dreams, dragons, fairys and ointments.

Bailey is home from the hospital. I would love to be able to say that he is all better but he isn't. He actually looks really terrible. Worse, in fact then when he first went in. He had an allergic reaction to the cream they were putting on him so he has a rash covering his entire body and looks like a burns victim. His actual psoriasis is looking much better and is responding really well to the light treatment. Now he has to go to the hospital for six weeks as out outpatient two times a week. They wanted three but there is no way we could fit that into our lives. It is an hours drive through major traffic each way. Plus it will mean that he misses out on school two days a week, as the appointments are all over the place. I can feel a little bit of homeschooling coming on. Woohoo!!!

The positive side is he has his health and it is looking like he will lose the psoriasis. He is a good boy and has put up with a lot. At the hospital they had the most amazing fairy garden, it was truly beautiful. It had all lights and trees with little windows and doors with lights behind them. And at night it was wonderfully magical. Bay and I loved it. We went out every night to have a look at it. It was SO cool.

They also had breath taking beautiful murals painted over all the walls. I often got distracted on a late night toilet run by the walls. Oohing and aahing and trying to work out how they were painted. I really wish I could do something like this in the girls room.

We are getting ready for a visit from the cousins so I had better chuff off for now.

Baileys hospital visit

We are getting ready for Bailey to go to hospital tomorrow. He will be there for seven days so I will not be around very much. Hopefully this will just nip his psoriasis in the bud and help him get back to normal. Fingers crossed and prayers going up.

I truly do love butterflies they make me feel closer to God.


10 countries I would love to visit
1. Italy - especially Venice
2. Israel. I would love to walk where Jesus walked. And Moses, and all the Bible gang.
3. America. I would need to visit Texas to visit Carol Ann. Oregon to visit Stacey, New York to see it, Hollywood to see it. And I would love to visit Amish country.
4. China. Would love love love to walk on the Great Wall of China.
5. England. It would be nice to check out the historical things.
6. Ireland I love Ireland. What more can I say.
7. Scotland. James and I both have Scottish roots, it would be great to go and pay homage.
8. Singapore I would love to go back there. I think I left a little piece of my heart when I was there before.
9. Bora Bora I want to stay in the little huts over the ocean. That would be cool.
10. France - or any where in Europe really. Just cos.

If money didn't matter, what job or career would you go for?

Wow if money didn't matter makes the mind boggle doesn't it? I don't think I would want to go into any secular job but I would love to go into ministry. For women and children. Encouraging them in their lives, having classes on how to cook. budget, parent, grow in God, enjoy their lives. And programs for the children to learn about God and have fun. As the children got older it would be cool to offer courses that they could learn lifeskills from as well. To have homes for young teen girls whose lives had gone a bit off course. To have families living with them, to help them feel accepted and to seek guidance from. And especially to direct them to God. That would be awesome. So so awesome. Then we would need people from the church to be running these programs and training others so that the work could continue on. Training, teaching, living, loving. Wiser women from the church who could mentor these women. Older teens to encourage the kids. Skilled people to teach the lifeskills needed. Older prayer warriors to pray continually for the whole thing. Older people in the church to take on Grandparent roles and bring delight and joy to the families. Yep I think that is what I would do.

Happy Easter Sunday

Outside my window... I can hear my kids squealing and laughing as they bounce on the trampoline. I can only imagine what all that chocolate is doing. Best to jump the sugar out before Church I think.
I am thinking... that I need to go and get ready for church.

I am thankful for... Christs love and sacrifice for me on this Easter Sunday.
From the kitchen... I have a roast beef. Baked potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli in cheese sauce, peas. MMMM
I am wearing... T shirt and trakkies
I am reading... Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. Excellent I might add. Plus I am reading Circle of Friends by Maeve Binchy. I love her.
I am hoping... That the kids will be settled during the service today and I remain calm and happy.
I am creating... I have been enjoying painting lately, plus I have been making lots of presents for birthday parties.
I am hearing... Silence at the moment which makes me a tad nervous. What are those kids up to?
Around the house... Acck don't even go there.
One of my favorite things... Lying on my bed reading with some good chocolates on hand.
A few plans for the rest of the week... I am trying to get organised for Bailey to go to hospital this week. Organising child care and time schedules plus activities to keep him and me occupied.
