The kids were outside playing on the trampoline when Caitlin came in absolutely screaming. She was all sweaty and clammy and as I gave her hug I felt something sticky on my face. Yep it was blood. She wasn't sweating she was bleeding. The boy next door had thrown a hose piece over the fence and it cracked her skull open. Our blue car isn't working and James was at church, so I rang Emma and she came and collected us all. I dropped the youngest two at church to sit in the back row and BEHAVE while Daddy preached and took Catie off to hospital. We were there for FOUR hours. They truly are so slow at the hospital.
She had to have 3 stitches but they wanted to use super glue because it is less stressfull for Cate. But surprise the hospital had run out of the glue. Just as the doctor was testing her head for numbness and about to put the needle in to begin the stitching a nurse came bolting down the corrider with the last tube in the entire hospital of the glue. Praise God. Finally she was all glued up, bandaged and sent home. She has to keep the bandage on for three days so guess who will start school with a bandage on her head? Yep thats right. Caitlin. Ah the excitement never ends around here.

Wow! That is drama. I'm so glad you were able to get to the hospital. That is amazing that they can use super glue instead of traditional stitches.
I'm so glad she's OK! Praise God that she was able to get glue instead of the stitching.
What a drama! We had one this morning as well. I heard a huge crash and Jessica started crying. I ran in and she had wiggled her dresser so hard that the HUGE TV on top fell over on her and her dresser with it. Praise God that Andrew had left the dresser drawers open on his trundle bed. It was open just enough to break the fall of the TV and not crushing her. It hit her head, but it she ended up being all right. Our kid's guardian angels are working overtime, aren't they?
Poor Poor pretty princess. Please give her a big hug and kiss from Auntee Carol Ann.
