Time flies

I can't believe how big the Kovacic kids have gotten. Becky was Mooeys best friend in Tasmania and this is what she looked like when we left to come to Sydney. This is what she looks like now. She turns 8 in June. She was all dressed up for a dancing comp and looks so so gorgeous.

This is what Hayden looked like when we left. Bay and Hayden were best friends from when they were ten weeks old. Best buddies all the way. Through fights, tears, wars and laughs.
And this is Hayden now as a gorgeous ten year old with his pet Lulu. It makes me feel so old.

School photo time.

Here are the girls school photos for this year. Charli told us that she wouldn't be smiling and she was true to her word. Cate on the other hand practiced smiling until she had it down.
Caitlin has settled into school better than I could ever have hoped. She is the rule follower and enforcer and is quite serious at school. She loves school so much that as soon as she gets home she is playing schools with Charli. She mostly hangs out with the teachers but plays alongside the other students and enjoys her time there.

Charli is settled at school too. She is very laid back and cheeky and happy. She has made friends with everybody and just generally makes everyone laugh. Cutie patootie.

My gorgeous sister.

This is Alison all grown up and a bridesmaid for her friend. Doesn't she look beautiful? I can't believe she turns 19 soon. Time flies. Especially when you hit the other side of 30.

Family fun day

We had our Family fun day at church yesterday. So much fun. This year they had a shuttle bus to take us over to the local schools fete as well. Great idea. We went over and got some great bargains from their mini market. Each child was given five dollars to spend. Charli picked a new pram, (this one was $10 but Charli really wasn't grasping the concept). Cate chose this really cool handbag and some Cinderella stickers. The boys spent theirs on Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

While we were at the school we spotted this slide. All the kids wanted to have a go on it. Even Charli. The operators had to help her climb up because she was too little but when she got to the top she came flying down. It was so funny to watch. She had NO fear at all. The others loved it too. Cate said I came sliding down and it felt like my tummy came later. LOL. Too cute.

We got to watch a clown and magic show which the kids enjoyed. All in all it was a great success. I just wish that I had brought the camera. I am so use to not taking it now. Will have to get back into the habit.

Sister chicks rule.

Ok so it has been awhile since I have blogged but I am used to working now and will be back more regularly.

I am entering a comp to win the latest book in the sister chick series. I love this series so much.

Girls first day at Daycare

Doing the Chinese Dragon Dance. Look at her - she is a natural leader. LOL.

This is Baby Morag who made Charli's day. Apparently Charli fell in love with her. When she got home she said the best thing she liked was the babies. Seems she has moved on from Baby dolls to live babies.
This is Cate dressing up for Chinese New Year.

Cate brought Fergus the frog because her group is called the Frogs and she was very excited. Although she did tell the teacher she felt sick when she first stood up. I explained that she meant nervous.
