This is a quick one just to let you know that I am still alive. I have had the flu. The real flu! Not a cold and just calling it the flu - ok I think you get the idea. LOL. I was so sick, I was in bed for about three days and just slept and slept and slept - when I could. I even got a home visit from a DR I was so bad. LOL. Are you impressed yet? I am doing heaps better now, it just feels like I have an ordinary cold now. I am amazed, my throat is still sore but compared to what it was like then, it is a walk in the park. My mummy even came and did my dishes and cleaned my microwave for me. WOohoo.
I watched Series 6 of Gilmore Girls. Did you know that we can't get that here in Oz? When Series 7 comes out I need my American/Canadian friends to let me know so I can buy it from there. I can't wait till Australia gets it act together. Rory and Lorelai need me.
OH yeah my phone isn't working properly at the moment. You can call me but I can't call you. So please leave a message or keep trying, hopefully this will be rectified soon. Love ya.
Little Miss was sick girl.

Photos from Mothers day
My mothers day started bright and early at about 5 AM with Hamish jumping in the room saying Don't get out of bed mum. Ahh not much chance of that. He came back about half an hour later, he must have seen the evil glint in my eye. He told me that I was going to get breakfast in bed, made by him. But there was a little problem. He isn't allowed to touch the toaster or the kettle so could I please get up and help him. Ahh kids don't you love em?
I got some lovely pressies, first two seasons of Gilmore Girls, first season of Dawsons Creek (why the heck did we like that show so much, it is painful) and a voucher for a massage. Chinese one at Hornsby. I am a bit nervous about that. Last time I got such an awful migraine last time. We'll see.
We went to church and then after church we went to the Hogs breath for lunch. It was really nice. Packed at the restaurant though. By the time they asked us if we wanted drinks we said no we just wanted to order mains, our kids were climbing the walls. They promptly brought the kids meals out and about half an hour later - after the kids were finished brought our meals out. TIMING PEOPLE. But it was yummy and so nice to go out for food with the family. The kids were very taken with giving cheers and clinking the glasses together. Charli in particular found it a spectacular game to play. LOL. It's amazing how small the things are that amuse a 19 month old. SO all in all I had a GREAT mothers day. I hope you did too. Here are some pictures of my kids getting ready for church. Some are blurry and not that great, but I just feel that they sum up my kids personalities.
Don't forget to leave a message if you take a peek.
This photo is my big boy Bailey getting ready for church. He is such a pre teen now. He is in the bathroom doing his hair and making sure he looks fine. He needs a good hair cut but he assures me that this "look" is totally trendy. WHATEVER!!!!

This little princess is Charli looking like an angel which she is. LOL. She looked so sweet in her little old fashioned dress. James was horrified. He felt like we had gone back to Little House on the Prairie days, but I loved it.
Yes this photo is blurred but I just love the two girls loving each other. They can be very affectionate towards one another.....................sometimes.
Here are the girls just chilling out. Looking gorgeous.
Here is Charlotte standing on the toilet. Cate got her photo on the toilet so she had to as well. It makes a great backdrop don't you think? LOL. Note the butterfly clip in her hair, it stayed there for about as long as it took to get the photo. Yep that quick folks.
These are the pink boots that Cate insisted on wearing with her old fashioned dress. It added a touch of Cate flavour. It actually looked very cute.

And there is the full ensemble. Looking good Cate - especially when you are standing on the loo.
Take care,
Naomi

Mothers Day at school
Every year the boys school celebrate Mothers day by inviting the mums to come to the childrens classrooms. They get to look at all the kids work and meet the teachers. And then the children give the mum a present.
This year Bay made me a beautiful scrapcard. The photo's colors aren't great but I really wanted to share it with you. So sweet.

There is a picture inside that Bay drew of me and him in the Star Wars movie. Now can't you just imagine me in the Star Wars movie. LOL. The other cute thing is the doodling on the cover. He proudly showed it to me and said mum I copied this off your work cos I know you love it.

There is the cutest poem on the back that Bay wrote that says
For you
I would give up playstation2 for a day!
For you
I would jump off a cliff or swim with sharks!
For you
I would shoot my self with a flamethrower or go skydiving with no Parashoot(sp) or go to war.
I think I would even eat worms
For you!
Ahh the sentiments of a nine year old.

This little beauty is what Moo made for me. It is a tea towel that the children tie dyed. The teacher knew which one his was because he was the only one in the class that insisted on all the rubber bands being on the corners and no where else. LOL. He was so proud of his mothers day gift and was fairly busting all week to tell me what it was. But he didn't. Only because I kept saying I could wait to find out.

Oh in case you are wondering it is trying to solve the problem of people who leave their dogs poo around, so the Sprinkle Brigade cover it up for us or make it look better. LOL.

Focus on Cate
These are some cute photos that I got of Cate in the last few days. The first one was so funny. I was in the kitchen and I hear her calling out for help, I walk into the bathroom and there she is. I fwell in mum. Oops. Jenny Blake my friends said well now we know how you clean your toilet, I think it explains a lot. Thanks Jenny.
This photo is of the GORGEOUS outfit that Cate picked by herself to wear to walk to the bus stop to pick up the boys. Yes folks it was a traffic stopper, literally. I love the sunnies. Heck I love the whole look. Plus she has the personality to carry it off. Loving it.
These just capture a little more of Cates personality. And boy has she got plenty. LOL.

I won a $20 gift voucher but I am so excited to win. These women are just the best scrappers ever and I am so out of their league, so this is exciting. I think its funny that yesterday my friend rang me and said did you win this month. And I laughed and said to her. I will never win anything, I only do this for pleasure. And I had already won the sketch challenge. Woohoo. OK I am done.

Not much happening
I have been pretty quiet this last week. Not a lot on. I am gearing up for the next months worth of EMMies. This month for the book of me, I have to do a layout on my creature comforts. Mmmmm I immediately thought of diet coke, books, the telly and the lounge. LOL. Can anyone think of better ones for me?
I have to organise Baileys teachers baby shower present, I am making her a little box that I will put prayers and blessings in for her. She can also put baby cards in it and arm bands from the hospital stuff like that - if she wants to that is. I also have to organise Hamish's teachers Kitchen tea. She gets married in June, we are having a small kitchen tea party for her and the children. Each child has to bring something for her kitchen and also their favourite recipe and I will scrap her a recipe book to give her.
